Job Title: Senior Counsel, . Policy Legal

Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Counsel, . Policy Legal at the company is tasked with executing comprehensive legal strategies to support the access of company products within the . market. The role involves shaping federal and state policy initiatives, focusing on key external engagements for policy shaping and external messaging. The responsibilities include:

- Developing an in-depth understanding of the company's business and staying informed about changes in laws and government policies that impact client areas.
- Providing clear legal advice to Government Affairs and business clients on significant federal and state laws, regulations, and policies, such as the Inflation Reduction Act, Medicare and Medicaid laws, the Affordable Care Act, 340B, FDA regulations, and OIG guidance.
- Collaborating with legal department managers to resolve complex legal issues efficiently and advising them of project developments promptly.
- Directing the work of outside counsel, defining project objectives, and managing projects.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable company policies and procedures.
- Engaging cross-functionally to find solutions for business clients that are consistent with the law, company policies/procedures, and the company's Code of Conduct.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Senior Counsel, . Policy Legal position must meet the following educational and experiential criteria:

- A law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Good standing with the state bar of the jurisdiction where the office is located or the ability to gain licensure in that state.
- A minimum of 7+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a law firm, government, trade association, or in-house.
- Preferred experience in practicing law with a focus on legislative and/or regulatory policy issues within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or related industry.
- Experience within an in-house government or trade association is considered a plus.

Salary Information:
The compensation range for the Senior Counsel, . Policy Legal position is between $156,000 and $296,500. The actual salary offered will depend on various factors, including geographic location. The company reserves the right to modify the salary range in the future. Additionally, the position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which includes paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in short-term and long-term incentive programs. Note that any form of compensation and benefits is at the company's discretion and may be modified accordingly.
