Estate & Probate Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the Probate and Trust Litigation Process.
- Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs, analyzing the situation, then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action.
- Guide clients through the process of trust and probate litigation.
- Ensure that estates are managed in accordance with the estate owner's intentions.
- Handle matters related to Trusts, Conservatorships, Probate, Trust Administration, and Estate Planning.
- Demonstrate compassion and provide guidance to clients during difficult times, particularly when dealing with contested or non-contested probate and conservatorships.
Education and Experience Information:
- Active member of the California Bar Association.
- Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years (or more) of experience in Trusts/Estates/Trust Litigation/Probate/Conservatorships.
- Strong negotiation and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations.
- Understanding of a variety of real estate matters, including title insurance, wills and trusts, property management, and litigation.
Salary Information:
- $115,000 - $135,000 yearly
