Job Title: Trust & Estates Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle Trust Administration-Decedent's Estate cases from beginning to end, ensuring all legal procedures are followed meticulously.
- Manage Conservatorship cases or Probate cases from initiation to completion, providing comprehensive legal support and guidance.
- Engage in meetings and maintain effective communication with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal advice.
- Marshal, organize, and analyze asset information to ensure accurate and thorough management of client estates.
- File necessary documents with the court, schedule court appearances, and manage service processes to ensure compliance with legal timelines and requirements.
- Calendar and prepare files for hearings and client meetings, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
Education and Experience Information:
- Proven experience in Trust Administrations-Decedent's Estates, and either Conservatorships or Probates is essential.
- Paralegal certification or qualifications that satisfy the requirements of Business & Professions Code Section 6450(c) are required for this role.
- Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, are necessary. Knowledge of Actionstep is considered a plus.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Reliable commute or willingness to relocate prior to starting the position is required.
Salary Information:
- Compensation ranges from $28 to $36 hourly, depending on experience (DOE).
