The Law Firm of Alston & Bird is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join their team. This full-time position, located in Charlotte, Dallas, or Atlanta, offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative firm. As a member of the Business & Practice Development Team, the Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's practices with business development initiatives and fostering a collaborative culture. The successful candidate will have a strong background in marketing or business development and will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities for this role include developing relationships with Finance and Financial Services lawyers, preparing pitches and RFPs, conducting market research and analysis, and coordinating with lawyers and the global marketing team on award nominations and submissions. The Specialist will also be responsible for proofreading and copyediting marketing materials, coordinating sponsorships and event attendance, and ensuring website and proposal database content is up-to-date.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels. Attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are also necessary for success in this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and experience in a law firm or professional services firm is preferred.
