Job Description:
- Conduct detailed investigations to locate absent parents, verify employment, and determine assets
- Prepare legal and administrative documents for child support orders
- Negotiate lump sum payments and out-of-court settlements
- Monitor child support cases and take appropriate enforcement actions
- Document all case actions using agency tools
- Review and maintain virtual files for accuracy
- Determine eligibility for case closure
- Attend court to assist legal staff
- Research case information using computer systems
- Stay informed on child support policies and procedures, state and federal regulations, and IV-D regulations in other states
- Assess child support cases and assign appropriate actions
- Provide training and technical assistance to office staff
- Supervise staff in the absence of the office manager/supervisor
- Explain program policies and procedures to customers
- Respond to complex customer inquiries and resolve complaints
- Serve as Notary Public
- Maintain relevant knowledge for job functions
- Comply with agency policies and procedures, including ethics and integrity

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree preferred (experience in related fields may be substituted)
