Law Firm Seeking Business Development Manager in Multiple Locations
Kelley Drye, a top law firm, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their Real Estate, Environmental, and State Attorneys General practice groups. This position offers a competitive salary and can be based in New York, New Jersey, Washington ., or Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans for practice groups and individual attorneys
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by staying informed about legal needs of clients and industry trends
- Manage RFP responses and create client-centric presentations and pitches
- Collaborate with other BDMs, marketing teams, and lawyers on cross-practice opportunities
- Conduct research on new business targets, industries, and competitors
- Manage relationships with clients, prospects, and referrals through the firm's CRM
- Track and report on results of business development efforts
- Provide training and coaching to attorneys on business development best practices
- Devise strategies to raise the profiles of the practice and key attorneys through speaking, sponsorship, and writing opportunities
- Assist with new attorney integration by developing business development plans and connecting them with colleagues in complementary practices
Requirements:
- Client service-oriented with a drive to support entrepreneurial lawyers
- Highly motivated, persuasive, and collaborative
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing or business development
- Outstanding writing, project management, research, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills

Salary Information:
- Salary range for Washington ., New Jersey, or New York City: $150,000 - $200,000
- Salary determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and experience, and relevant degrees/certifications
