Job Title: Marketing Events Manager

Job Responsibilities:
The Marketing Events Manager at the law firm is tasked with leading the planning, execution, and evaluation of firm-wide events that align with the company's marketing, client engagement, and business development goals. Responsibilities include:

- Developing and executing a comprehensive events strategy that aligns with the firm's marketing and business development objectives.
- Collaborating with marketing, business development teams, and practice group leaders to identify and leverage event opportunities for client relationship-building and thought leadership.
- Creating and promoting scalable guidelines, streamlined processes, best practices, and standard operating procedures to enhance event execution across the organization.
- Compiling and evaluating potential opportunities for new client event programs that integrate with marketing campaigns.
- Innovating new event approaches to boost client engagement.
- Supervising, mentoring, and developing a team of two Senior Marketing Event Planners, including workload allocation, performance oversight, and professional growth support.
- Developing and managing event budgets, tracking expenditures, and reporting on ROI metrics.
- Coordinating with CRM and business development teams for pre- and post-event communications, contact targeting, and performance analytics.
- Working with the Marketing Operations team to manage event technology and vendor relationships, and identify interactive technologies to engage audiences.
- Monitoring and measuring event metrics, and preparing reports on event performance and key learnings to inform future planning.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of event management experience, preferably within a law firm, professional services, or corporate setting.
- Proven experience in managing a team and overseeing multiple complex events simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-service mindset.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in event management software (., Cvent), Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems (., DealCloud or similar).
- Willingness to work outside standard business hours and travel occasionally for events, as required.

Salary Information:
The salary for the Marketing Events Manager varies based on location and is subject to adjustments based on the candidate's education, training, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law. The annualized salary ranges are as follows:

- Washington State: $118,000 to $138,000
- Los Angeles, California: $118,000 to $138,000
- San Francisco, California: $140,000 to $165,000
- New York, New York: $126,000 to $146,000
- Washington .: $123,000 to $140,000
