Job Title: Paralegal, Corporate Auto Claims
Job Responsibilities:
The Paralegal for Corporate Auto Claims will play a pivotal role in operational risk improvements within the company, focusing on the litigation management of complex bodily injury (BI) claims related to the company's expanding worldwide delivery fleet. The responsibilities include:
- Utilizing analytics, metrics, and benchmarking to evaluate trends and making recommendations for process improvements and performance management of outside counsel and third-party administrator (TPA) partners handling litigated BI cases.
- Coordinating and supporting ongoing litigation and responding to internal legal inquiries.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams to strategize on ways to streamline processes and enhance litigation-related tasks.
- Partnering with internal customers to identify and preserve discovery items and evidence.
- Acting as a liaison between outside counsel, risk/legal managers, and internal stakeholders in gathering documentation needed for discovery requests.
- Supporting risk managers and internal and external stakeholders on the discovery process.
- Performing other litigation management tasks as needed.
- Some travel may be required to fulfill responsibilities.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a paralegal handling auto liability litigation, including a strong understanding of the litigation process.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Good organizational skills.
- Capability to work independently, manage workload, and meet multiple deadlines.
- Experience with project management is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
Salary Information:
The compensation for this role reflects the cost of labor across several . geographic markets. The base pay ranges from $66,800 per year in the lowest geographic market to $142,800 per year in the highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The company, being a total compensation company, may offer equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
