Job Title: Client Receivables Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Director of Accounts Receivables, Client Receivables Supervisor, Client Receivables Specialists, and Credit Analysts with all administrative and coordination needs.
- Perform general administrative duties including answering phones, processing credit card payments, and coordinating department activities.
- Contribute to department efforts by pulling copies of invoices, running monthly and ad hoc reminder statements, and preparing packets for accounts being sent to collections.
- Research unapplied cash, unidentified payments, duplicates, and overpayments to determine appropriate next steps.
- Create, monitor, and maintain reports related to the department.
- Provide backup support to Credit Analysts, including handling new matter credit reviews.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients and attorneys.
- Exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality and sensitivity regarding information.
- Manage projects and tasks effectively with strong organizational skills.
- Work independently, proactively, and take initiative on assigned tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with all Finance & Accounting functions to deliver high-quality, accurate, and timely service to attorneys and clients, adhering to established firm policies.
- Proficiency in 3E, ARCS, and Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ensure availability and consistent attendance during scheduled work shifts, engaging through Zoom, email, voicemail, and phone.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to ensure the success of the department and law firm.
Education and Experience Information:
- Required: 3 or more years of related experience in law firm and/or business administrative support.
- Preferred: Prior experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm.
- or better is preferred.
Salary Information:
- The budgeted salary range for this position is $55,000 - $60,000.
