Job Title: Employment Litigation Attorney

Job Responsibilities:
The position of Employment Litigation Attorney at the law firm involves handling complex employment law matters, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, and retaliation claims. The attorney will be responsible for taking depositions, interviewing witnesses, writing motions, and analyzing employment law cases. The role requires experience in managing wage and hour class action and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) representative claims. Candidates will be expected to structure discovery plans, take and defend depositions, manage document-intensive cases, draft dispositive motions, and prepare for trial. The attorney must stay ahead of evolving employment laws and independently handle employment cases, providing creative legal solutions for employers. Strong organizational and communication skills, along with a commitment to teamwork, are critical for success in this position.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must be licensed to practice law in California and should possess at least 4 years of experience in employment law. A strong academic background is required, and experience with class action and PAGA claims is preferred. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a passion for advocacy and have excellent organizational, entrepreneurial, and communication skills.

Salary Information:
The pay range for the Employment Litigation Attorney position is $130,000 to $185,000 per year. The actual salary may vary based on factors such as education and applicable experience. This range is provided in compliance with California's pay transparency law, SB1162.
