Job Title: Corporate Legal Administrative Assistant

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to assigned attorney(s) and paralegal(s), which includes drafting client letters, fielding client phone calls, coordinating appointments, and managing calendars.
- Perform highly technical document production tasks such as typing, drafting, and editing documents, redlining, converting documents from PDF to Word, scanning, and assembling closing binders. Proofread and edit documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and format. File documents and emails in the law firm's electronic document software and distribute correspondence using email or hard copy.
- Understand legal terminology, basic legal procedures, and law firm document protocol. Have knowledge of legal document formats such as contracts and agreements. Maintain files and all client documentation.
- Utilize strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure instructions are clearly understood and work is completed as requested. Maintain a courteous and service-driven demeanor at all times.
- Input time entries on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Open new client and/or matter numbers and perform conflict checks.
- Answer telephone calls, take accurate and complete messages, give information to callers, refer to others, or hold for team members. Provide relevant and timely information to clients and team members (including times when they are out of the office) in a professional, courteous, and effective manner.
- Bring organizational skills to the role with the ability to provide guidance on the most efficient and effective way to complete tasks. Take initiative and be a self-starter with work.
- Back up team members by providing administrative support to other attorneys and paralegals.

Education and Experience Information:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of legal administrative experience.
- Superior attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral business communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Salary Information:
- Pay: $70, - $73, per year
