Job Title: School of Fish: STEM Careers in IP

Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in the School of Fish program, designed to educate undergraduate and graduate students about intellectual property (IP) law and career paths in the field.
- Attend weekly virtual workshops led by attorneys and technology specialists, focusing on introductory information on IP law and various career options within the field.
- Participate in an in-person session that includes interactive education, networking, interview and resume workshops, career planning, and a social reception.
- Demonstrate a meaningful commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through involvement in school or other community efforts and initiatives.

Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates must be entering their third or fourth year of undergraduate study or be pursuing a graduate degree in a science or engineering field.
- Applicants must include a resume, undergraduate transcript (official or unofficial), and a directed personal statement.

Salary Information:
- Participants who complete the program will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
- The program covers the cost of the LSAT or Patent Office Registration exam fee for those who express interest.
- Participants will receive a discount code for an LSAT or Patent Office Registration Exam prep course.

Additional Information:
- The program consists of five virtual sessions held every Friday from October 10 to November 7, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm ET.
- The in-person session will occur during the week of December 15, 2025, with exact dates to be determined based on exam schedules. Travel and lodging costs for this session will be covered.
- The application deadline is July 15, 2025, and selections will be announced in August. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
