Job Title: Patent and Trademark Legal Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
The Patent and Trademark Legal Assistant will perform a comprehensive range of legal administrative duties to support multiple attorneys within the law firm. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing, reviewing, and electronically filing patent and trademark documents with the . Patent and Trademark Office.
- Drafting legal documents and preparing legal responses.
- Organizing and maintaining legal files.
- Managing attorney docket deadlines.
- Assisting with patent searches.
- Providing administrative support tasks including time entry and billing support.
Education and Experience Information:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Legal experience is necessary.
- The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- An understanding of intellectual property procedures is required.
- Significant experience with Microsoft Office products is necessary.
Salary Information:
The position offers a salary range of $50,000 to $57,000 per year, based on full-time employment.
