Job Title:

Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design and launch of new registered funds, broadly offered private funds, collective investment trusts, and other investment vehicles.
- Research new product ideas and issues, working with counsel and stakeholders to propose solutions.
- Coordinate and prepare materials to facilitate decisions regarding the structuring of new products.
- Oversee the ongoing day-to-day management of new and existing registered funds and other Private Wealth vehicles.
- Assist leaders with project management on fund formation matters and participate in product development of various investment structures across multiple jurisdictions.
- Support fund governance matters, liaise with external counsel, create, review, and present board materials, and provide guidance to business colleagues and senior management on board proposals.
- Manage regulatory filings (., 8-Ks, 10-Q/Ks, Form 10s, N-2s, N-CSRs, and prospectus updates) and assist with day-to-day oversight of legal matters.
- Assist with the development of a marketing and fundraising plan for registered funds.
- Work with the in-house Legal & Compliance team and external counsel to monitor and implement legal and regulatory developments that impact the registered funds.
- Provide regulatory and legal advice to investment professionals and business personnel, including preparation of reports for the investment team and senior management.
- Engage in other projects as needed.

Education and Experience Information:
- 6+ years of experience practicing law as a law firm associate or an in-house counsel, preferably focused on registered funds/investment management law.
- Familiarity with BDCs, interval funds, broadly offered private funds, and/or collective investment trusts is preferred but not required.
- Experience with public company filings is required.
- Significant experience with the Investment Company Act of 1940 and familiarity with the Securities Act of 1933 and Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

Salary Information:
- Expected annual base salary range: $150,000 - $250,000.
- Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location.
- Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
