Job Title: HRIS Manager
Job Responsibilities:
The HRIS Manager at the law firm will be responsible for the comprehensive management and oversight of the Workday Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This includes handling various modules such as HR, benefits, payroll, recruiting, learning, and absence. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing Workday system configuration, including security roles, user access, and data fields across all modules.
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Implementing updates and upgrades to Workday system functionality.
- Ensuring data accuracy and integrity within the Workday system by performing data cleansing and validation activities.
- Developing and maintaining data quality standards and procedures.
- Managing data integrations with other systems and applications.
- Collaborating with HR teams to identify opportunities for process optimization using Workday functionalities.
- Designing and implementing workflow configurations for key HR business processes within Workday.
- Analyzing usage data to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes.
- Developing and delivering customized reports and dashboards using Workday reporting tools to provide insights to HR leadership.
- Analyzing data to identify trends and patterns to inform strategic HR decisions.
- Providing end-user training and support on Workday functionalities and system navigation.
- Developing and maintaining training materials and documentation.
- Addressing user queries and resolving system-related issues.
- Leading and managing Workday implementation projects, including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Education and Experience:
Candidates are expected to have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience. Additionally, a minimum of five years of experience as a Workday Superuser or in a similar role within HR or IT involving HRIS management and talent management business processes is required.

- In-depth knowledge of Workday HR, benefits, absences, payroll, recruiting, performance/talent management, and learning modules.
- Proven experience managing and administering Workday HRIS system across various modules.
- Expertise in Workday configuration, reporting, and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of HR business processes and best practices.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with meticulous follow-through.
- Ability to work independently, apply directions, multi-task, and work quickly within a framework where priorities often shift and/or conflict.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and reporting tools.
- Ability to think and act strategically and analytically with proven experience and confidence to quickly analyze complex problems and offer solutions and provide guidance to HR team to ensure objectives are met.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- The drive to stay abreast of industry trends.
- Experience working with third-party integrations with Workday.
- Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Requirements:
- Membership in professional organizations such as SHRM.
- Workday Professional Certification.
- Experience working in an AmLaw 200 or larger law firm or professional services organization.
Salary Information:
The expected starting salary for the HRIS Manager position is $150,000 - $180,000 annually, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
