Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Risk Management team as a Conflict Clerk. This is a full-time position with the option to work remotely, in a hybrid setting, or onsite. We prefer candidates with medium to large law firm experience, and experience as a Paralegal or Law Clerk is a plus. Confidentiality is a must in all client and firm matters.

Responsibilities:

Conduct conflict of interest search requests and handle matter intake from start to finish
Make decisions on how to handle complex or unusual requests and interpret conflicts data
Communicate conflict of interest information to attorneys and others as needed
Conduct research using third-party business resources for new clients and other assigned work
Stay up-to-date on rules of professional conduct and client relationship considerations
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Collaborate with team members to enhance productivity
Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, when needed

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years experience in research, paralegal or clerking, or 1 year of direct conflicts experience in a law firm
Professional demeanor required
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under pressure while maintaining a high-level work product
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Discretion and good judgment are a must
Proficiency with Outlook preferred
Familiarity with legal documents is a plus

Education:

College degree and work experience preferred
