Job Title: Hospitality Supervisor
Job Responsibilities:
The Hospitality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the New York reception team and managing services provided by business partners. This front-facing role is crucial for delivering exceptional client service, acting as the first point of contact for clients and visitors to ensure a seamless and professional experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising the New York Reception team, including hiring, performance management, compensation, and termination recommendations.
- Reviewing reports and requests daily, handling changes, recording, and passing on requests to supporting departments, and ensuring follow-up.
- Managing conference room activities in coordination with department management.
- Organizing and communicating special concierge-related meeting needs or requests, such as meet-and-greets and client-sponsored functions, ensuring issues are resolved seamlessly.
- Acting as the point of contact for large client events and liaising with building personnel, business partners, and key partners and clients.
- Collaborating with building management on emergency, fire, and safety training and issues.
- Promoting continuous process and service improvement with business partners to enhance client experience and satisfaction.
- Collaborating with business partners and colleagues to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions.
- Addressing complaints and service failures promptly and efficiently.
- Building and strengthening relationships across business service partners and within the firm to facilitate innovation and problem resolution.
- Reviewing contracts with the Office Administrator to ensure business partners adhere to terms and conditions.
- Monitoring budgets and reviewing and approving invoices in collaboration with the Office Administrator.
- Performing other responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
The position requires a Bachelor's Degree or comparable work experience. Candidates should have a minimum of 5-10 years of progressive experience in mid-sized to large law firm administration with the ability to coordinate multiple functions. Essential skills include:
- Good judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective communication abilities with executive management, partners, clients, employees, and business partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative to implement solutions.
- A team player attitude with a willingness to help and provide excellent client service.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple simultaneous tasks efficiently with poise and confidence.
Salary Information:
The salary range for the position in New York is DOE: $100,000 - $138,000. The firm offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, profit sharing, short-term/long-term disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, paid holidays, and discretionary bonuses.
