Job Description

As a Litigation Paralegal at Mehri & Skalet, you will be an essential part of our legal team. You will work closely with attorneys on a variety of cases, including class action lawsuits, discrimination claims, and whistleblower cases. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, organizing case files, and communicating with clients and other parties involved in the case.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information
- Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Organize and maintain case files
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings
- Attend and take notes during client meetings and court proceedings
- Manage deadlines and ensure all necessary filings are completed on time

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience in litigation
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred
- Strong research and writing skills
- Proficiency in legal software and databases
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
