Job Title: Financial Systems Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
The Financial Systems Specialist is responsible for the administration of the law firm's financial systems, offering support to attorneys and other internal clients by providing data and end-user support, and ensuring the integrity of financial information data. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Financial Systems. The essential duties include:

- Supporting Aderant applications (EA Pro, Classic, Expert AP, Expert Billing, Expert Rates, Expert Time, etc.) and other integrated systems (Chrome River, Intapp Time, eBillinghub, etc.).
- Providing end-user support, training, and documentation.
- Identifying issues, making corrections to processes or data as needed, and opening support tickets to follow through to resolution.
- Customizing applications as needed.
- Maintaining security of applications.
- Assisting with implementing and upgrading applications.
- Providing data and reports to Finance and other members of the firm using various tools such as T-SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Aderant Expert, Aderant Spotlight, Excel.
- Working with managers in Finance to determine and implement appropriate standards and procedures to ensure accuracy of firm reporting and client billing/reporting.
- Assisting supervisors with special projects as required.
- Assisting with master data maintenance as required for clean, accurate, and efficient reporting.

Skills Needed to be Successful:
- Proficiency in T-SQL.
- Extensive knowledge of Aderant Expert, including both user interface and table structures.
- Understanding of accounting and transaction flows.
- Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, subtotaling, creating and maintaining external data sources, etc.).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret communications from various sources and explain complex technical communications to contacts in various roles.
- Ability to work independently and proactively to solve problems and accomplish goals.
- Ability to build, maintain, and deliver a high level of professional customer service.
- Attention to detail and fostering strong positive working team relationships with all internal and external contacts.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all financial matters.
- Thorough understanding of firm and finance department policies and procedures and ability to identify issues and enforce compliance with those policies and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills for prioritizing workload.
- Ability to work well under pressure and balance multiple competing priorities.

Education and Experience:
Required:
- 5+ years of financial systems experience.
- Previous experience with Aderant accounting software.

Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Accounting/Finance.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this position in Century City, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Silicon Valley (Palo Alto), and Washington, . is $95,000 – $125,000. This range represents the law firm's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's experience, education, relevant certifications, geographic location, market demands, and specific business needs. Generally, candidates are considered for the higher end of the salary range when they bring the requisite level of experience and expertise to the role.
