Job Title: Associate Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct substantive witness interviews
- Manage discovery processes
- Take and defend depositions
- Regularly appear in court to defend motions
- Handle case management duties
- Draft dispositive motions, such as demurrers, anti-SLAPP, motions for judgment, and motions for summary judgment
Education and Experience Information:
- Must be licensed to practice law in the state of California
- More than 5 years of experience in employment matters, including wage and hour, PAGA, and FLSA
- Prior employment litigation experience is required
- Experience in trial, mediation, or other dispute resolution processes is preferred but not required
- Public sector experience is considered a plus
