Job Title: Intellectual Property Associate - Electrical Engineering

Job Responsibilities:
The Intellectual Property Associate will become part of the dynamic Intellectual Property Litigation practice at the law firm, joining any of their . offices. The role primarily involves handling intellectual property matters, notably patent and/or trade secret cases. The associate is expected to:

- Conduct thorough research and produce high-quality written work.
- Work independently while possessing strong advocacy skills.
- Engage in patent litigation, particularly in competitor versus competitor cases and against aggressive patent assertion entities.
- Handle inter partes review proceedings before the Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
- Maintain collegiality among lawyers and contribute to a professionally and personally rewarding practice.

Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates must possess two to four years of experience in handling intellectual property matters, including patents and/or trade secrets.
- A bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- Candidates should have excellent academic credentials, superior writing, and communication skills.
- Membership to the State Bar of the office in the state where the candidate expects to be located is required.

Salary Information:
The expected salary range for the Intellectual Property Associate position is between $235,000 and $310,000. The final level of pay within this range will depend on various job-related factors, which may include qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, and geography. Additional compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, determined by both the firm's and individual performance.
