Job Title: Temporary Recruiter
Job Responsibilities:
The Temporary Recruiter at the law firm is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for professional staff, which includes sourcing, attracting, and hiring both external and internal candidates to fill open positions. This role requires partnering closely with over 100 hiring managers across various departments such as accounting, finance, legal support, IT, human resources, and marketing. Key responsibilities include developing and executing recruitment strategies, managing multiple searches, utilizing innovative sourcing techniques, researching industry trends, leveraging recruitment data, and implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) best practices to ensure an equitable candidate experience.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Managing full-cycle recruiting for up to 10+ positions concurrently across multiple departments.
- Building relationships with staff hiring managers to understand business needs and overcome recruitment challenges.
- Developing a deep understanding of the firm’s culture, values, and strategic objectives.
- Attracting top legal talent through innovative sourcing and branding strategies.
- Reviewing and analyzing candidate materials to assist managers in making informed hiring decisions.
- Conducting initial screening interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and enhance their experience.
- Keeping stakeholders informed about recruitment progress and challenges.
- Negotiating offer terms and drafting offer letters under advisement.
- Supporting firm-wide talent acquisition branding efforts.
- Contributing innovative ideas and solutions to enhance recruitment performance.
- Seeking opportunities to optimize recruitment processes.
- Maintaining fairness, objectivity, and ethics throughout the recruitment process.
- Protecting candidate and firm confidentiality.
- Complying with legal requirements and firm policies.
- Partnering with the attorney talent acquisition team as needed.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in recruiting, preferably with experience in a multi-office professional services firm. The role requires demonstrated technical skills in full-cycle recruiting, learning agility, and experience sourcing passive candidates using various tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean searches. Stellar verbal and written communication skills, strong customer orientation, expert relationship-building skills, problem-solving abilities, proficiency in MS Office 365, and ATS/CRM experience are essential. The ability to travel as needed is also required.
Salary Information:
The hourly range for this position in Washington is to . Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s education, training, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Paid sick leave is accrued biweekly at a rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked. Temporary employees working at least 30 hours per week may be eligible for health insurance with an optional HSA, dental insurance, vision care, telemedicine, virtual short-term solution-based counseling services, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
