Job Title: Legal Information & Admissions Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

Library Services:
- Manage all aspects of law firm subscriptions, including renewals, contract negotiations, user lists, access, and payment of subscriptions.
- Oversee the Library Services inbox and respond to internal requests such as article pulls, access to subscriptions, new books, and new subscriptions.
- Assist attorneys and analysts with research requests and field questions about firm subscriptions and platforms.
- Organize key documents, audit subscription user lists, track budget and purchases, and manage renewal dates.
- Prepare and review monthly usage reports for allocated subscriptions and ensure research costs are posted as billable.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees in terms of subscription access.
- Create and maintain the Library Services Playbook and cheat sheets.

Attorney Admissions:
- Review and respond to inquiries sent to the Attorney Admissions email distribution list.
- Serve as backup for the team during busy periods or absences.
- Assist with calendaring admissions deadlines, preparing admission cheat sheets, and reviewing procedural questions for court admissions.

Continuing Legal Education:
- Assist with CLE credit processing.

Managing Attorney’s Office:
- Review and respond to inquiries sent to the Managing Attorney Office Support email distribution list.

Education and Experience Information:
- 3-5 years+ experience in a law firm library in a reference/research position with expertise in legal and corporate research is required.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Knowledge of standard research resources such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, Bloomberg Law, and a variety of electronic research databases is required.
- Excellent communication skills and strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
- Experience in vendor management, including cost analysis and service evaluation.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proven ability to enhance departmental resources and processes for improved efficiency.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Salary Information:
- At the time of posting, the salary range for this role is $85,000 (minimum) – $100,000 (maximum) based on a full-time work schedule.
- Other compensation may include an annual discretionary bonus.
- The actual salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications, training, skills, and market data.
