Job Title: Pre-Litigation Paralegal

Job Responsibilities:
The Pre-Litigation Paralegal at the law firm is responsible for handling specific tasks associated with personal injury cases, particularly those involving auto accidents. The primary duties include:
- Drafting and sending letters of representation.
- Collecting and reviewing medical records and bills.
- Contacting clients, insurance companies, and adjusters.
- Organizing files for demand preparation.
- Drafting settlement demands.
- Verifying balances, reductions, and liens.
- Collaborating closely with other paralegals and attorneys to manage cases efficiently and within set deadlines.

The role requires the candidate to be detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of multitasking effectively. Proficiency in using Adobe Pro DC, MyCase, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred but not mandatory.

Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a law firm setting is required to apply for this position.
- An Associate's Degree is mandatory, while a Bachelor's Degree, particularly in Political Science or Criminal Law, is preferred.
- Spanish fluency is preferred but not a requirement.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential.

Salary Information:
The compensation for the Pre-Litigation Paralegal position ranges from $26 to $28 per hour. The salary is contingent upon the candidate's experience. Additionally, the position offers a 401K plan after one year of employment and a generous PTO package available after a 90-day probationary period.
