Clark Hill, a prestigious national law firm with 29 offices across the United States, Ireland, and Mexico, is seeking a California licensed Labor & Employment Associate to join our growing team in Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Francisco. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with 1+ years of experience to work on a broad range of employment issues and gain valuable experience in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling single-plaintiff employment litigation, including workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination lawsuits
- Experience with class action/PAGA cases is preferred
- Drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions and arguing motions in court
- Taking and defending depositions and conducting administrative hearings (a plus)
- Drafting workplace policies and conducting employee trainings
- Providing day-to-day advice and counsel to employers
- Detail-oriented and excellent writing, communication, and research skills are a must
Salary and Benefits:
- The salary range at the time of posting is $150,000 - $175,000 annually, based on a full-time work schedule
- Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including qualifications, experience, skill sets, and market data
- Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
