Job Title: Corporate Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
The Corporate Paralegal will be an integral part of the legal team, providing support across a range of functions to ensure the team’s effectiveness and efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Maintaining and tracking contract databases to ensure timely renewals and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Supporting regulatory compliance efforts, including SOC II Type II audits, industry certifications, and internal compliance processes.
- Conducting initial legal research and preparing reports on various legal topics related to corporate governance, intellectual property, and regulatory matters.
- Assisting with intellectual property and business registration filings and managing documents related to patents and trademarks.
- Coordinating with internal teams and external counsel to facilitate legal and compliance initiatives.
- Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and vendors.
- Organizing and maintaining legal records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of documents.
- Providing administrative support for the legal department, including scheduling meetings and maintaining internal legal files.
- Managing legal department initiatives and projects.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates interested in the Corporate Paralegal position should have the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, business, or a related field.
- Paralegal certification from an accredited institution is highly preferred.
- 1-5 years of experience as a paralegal, with a strong preference for experience in a corporate or in-house legal setting.
- Familiarity with contract management, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property matters.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
Salary Information:
The position is a full-time, salaried role based in Woodbridge, NJ. The salary is dependent on experience (DOE), and candidates are requested to provide their salary expectations in the application.
Additional Details:
- The position is hybrid, requiring on-site presence at the Woodbridge, NJ office.
- Normal hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

- Familiarity with the company's proprietary applications, healthcare software, or corrections/public health business processes is not required. However, candidates should demonstrate related experience and transferable skills.
