IP Paralegal or Legal Assistant The candidate will be working closely with seasoned IP Paralegals and assistants to learn the various aspects of Advent's business. Preparing assignments, declarations, information disclosure statements, and shell intellectual property documents for final review and filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Corresponding with clients and foreign associates on various matters. Performing docketing functions for domestic and foreign deadlines. An associate's degree and/or relevant experience in the legal industry is required. Should have the ability to work in offices in Omaha, Nebraska with a potential future opportunity for partial remote accommodations. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. Good attention to detail is required. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs and the desire to learn other business, legal, and client-specific software.
