Law Firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Office Scanning Clerk. This position is responsible for sorting and scanning incoming mail, capturing CD contents and email attachments, and processing invoices. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and be able to commute to our Oakland, CA office daily.
Responsibilities:
Sort and open incoming mail, separating regular mail from calendar and trigger items.
Create coversheets and scan incoming mail and documents via fax.
Read legal documents, select the appropriate case, and select correct billing codes.
Summarize documents and print out coversheets.
Capture CD contents and email attachments.
Place scanned items in shredding bins and return documents to the FedEx table.
Process invoices and arrange for FedEx shipments.
Create coversheets for calendar and trigger item scanning.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma required.
On-the-job training will be provided.
