Job Responsibilities:
The Legal Assistant is responsible for performing secretarial and other related clerical duties within the Legal Division of the company. The essential functions of this role include providing administrative support to lawyers, legal department management, and legal staff across all disciplines within the Legal Division. Additional responsibilities may include supporting litigation attorneys and paralegals who handle all aspects of litigation, particularly in complex litigation teams. The role requires effective communication, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to prioritize assignments and collaborate with team members.
Education and Experience Information:
The minimum educational requirement for the Legal Assistant position is a high school diploma or GED. Applicants must have at least four years of related experience, with one year of experience in a legal organization. Proficiency with PC operations is required, preferably with experience using MS Office. The role also demands proficient typing skills, excellent spelling, punctuation, and English grammar skills.
Salary Information:
