Job Title: Paralegal - Trusts and Estates
Job Responsibilities:
The Paralegal in the Trusts & Estates Team at the law firm will play a critical role in supporting multiple attorneys in the estate administration process. Key responsibilities include:
- Working on estate administration matters for both taxable and non-taxable estates.
- Drafting, editing, and reviewing probate and administration-related documents.
- Assisting clients with retitling assets.
- Assembling and organizing financial records for estate tax returns and audits.
- Preparing, editing, and reviewing estate tax returns.
- Preparing fiduciary income tax returns and settlement papers for both informal and formal settlement of estates and trusts.
- Interacting with a wide variety of clients in person, on the phone, via email, and video conferencing.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must have the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of estate administration experience is required.
- Experience preparing estate and trust accountings is required.
- Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, and the ability to efficiently use technology resources.
- Exceptional oral and written communication, organizational, proofreading, and analytical skills to ensure the top quality of legal documents.
- A high level of initiative and the ability to follow through on numerous ongoing projects in a busy environment.

The salary for the Paralegal position will vary depending on relevant experience, geographic location, and weekly hours schedule. The anticipated weekly schedule varies by location:
