Job Title: Senior Family Law Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys by assisting with all aspects of family law cases to ensure smooth and efficient case management.
- Collaborate closely with Senior Attorneys to facilitate case strategy and execution.
- Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support motions, filings, and case preparation.
- Draft, review, and file a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, agreements, and discovery materials.
- Organize and prepare materials for trials, including motions, briefs, exhibits, and witness lists.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.
- Maintain accurate and well-organized case files—both physical and electronic—with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Assist with preparation for depositions, mediations, and hearings to support attorneys throughout the litigation process.
Education and Experience Information:
- Must have at least 4 years of experience working as a family law paralegal, specifically in Georgia.
- Proficiency in all aspects of family law, particularly focused on drafting pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and discovery, is essential.
- Demonstrated strong research and writing skills are required.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and legal research software.
- Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Expected to bill 130 hours monthly.
Salary Information:
- Compensation: $70,000–$90,000+ annually (base salary + performance bonuses)
- Base pay range: The minimum salary is $70K and the max salary is $90K.
- $70K – $90K/yr (Employer est.)
