Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Responsibilities:
The Business Intelligence Analyst at the law firm plays a crucial role in developing content, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to provide insights that drive business decisions. The Analyst will collaborate closely with the Director of Data and Analytics and work within a talented and dynamic team of lawyers, paralegals, and business professionals. The primary responsibilities include:

- Providing financial reporting, analysis, and support to the firm's leadership, timekeepers, and various departments.
- Designing, developing, and updating various reporting assets, such as dashboards and reports, for different departments within the firm.
- Offering analysis to decision-makers seeking financial information or insights, including individual partners, teams of partners, or managers, while discussing the underlying dynamics affecting financial performance.
- Monitoring and evaluating data sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Coordinating with users to answer data inquiries and providing ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
- Documenting and updating documentation regarding dashboards, reports, and the financial glossary.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the firm.

Education and Experience Information:
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management from an accredited college or university. Additionally, candidates must possess:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis and report development.
- Previous experience working with the Aderant financial system is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging Excel for data analysis, with a strong command of SQL for querying databases.
- Proficiency in using data visualization tools such as Power BI and SSRS to create insightful and compelling reports and dashboards.
- Clear and effective communication skills to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
- Attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
- An understanding of SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
- Familiarity with R and Python programming languages.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure.

Salary Information:
This is a remote position, and the salary range varies depending on geographic location, experience, internal equity, market data, and job-related considerations. The salary range for this position is from $82,200 to $150,000. Offers are contingent upon various factors, including experience and qualifications.
