Job Title: Immigration Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft, edit, and organize immigration petitions, specifically Petition Letters.
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents and managing client files.
- Conduct research and analyze immigration laws and policy changes to ensure compliance and provide recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information, providing basic legal support and guidance throughout the immigration process.
- Manage and follow up on immigration case processes, ensuring all documentation and procedures are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Paralegal Certification is required to qualify for this position.
- Candidates must have 1-2 years of experience working in immigration law.
- Familiarity with employment-based immigration cases and processing is essential.
- Strong skills in drafting immigration documents, particularly Petition Letters, are necessary.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, is required.
Salary Information:
- The pay range for this full-time position is to per hour.
- The expected working hours are 40 per week, with a schedule consisting of an 8-hour shift.
