Associate Attorney - Employment Law
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee a diverse caseload of employment law matters, including discrimination (harassment, age, race, gender), wage and hour disputes, and wrongful termination.
- Represent clients in both individual and class action cases, including PAGA claims.
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, trial preparation, and oral arguments.
- Develop case strategies, identify key legal issues, and work toward favorable resolutions, either through settlement or trial.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
- Maintain strong client communication, ensuring clients are informed of case progress and developments.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to build and strengthen case strategies.
Education and Experience Information:
- .
- Strong understanding of both state and federal employment laws.
- Proficient in MS Office and FileVine.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment with other lawyers and paralegals.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management skills, including prioritization of cases and adhering to deadlines, internal or those imposed by the Court.
- Strong organizational skills in handling the caseloads required of the position.
Salary Information:
Pay: $130, - $180, per year
