Job Title: Public Relations Manager – Litigation & Trial

Job Responsibilities:
The Public Relations Manager for Litigation & Trial at the law firm plays a crucial role within the Brand & Communications department. The primary responsibilities include:

- Serving as a strategic and trusted advisor, and a skilled media relations professional.
- Developing and executing public relations, media, and communications programs aimed at enhancing the reputation and building the profile of the practice and partners.
- Managing proactive press outreach and reactive media, which involves addressing issues that may arise, building relationships with key media, and connecting reporters to partners who serve as media sources.
- Handling a variety of strategic writing projects, including writing, editing, and coordinating a wide range of copy. This includes developing messaging, drafting press releases, preparing case notes, developing award entries, writing/editing website content, and coordinating survey submissions.
- Placing byline articles and creating opportunities to leverage thought leadership for press commentary and marketing campaigns. This includes promoting across the firm’s digital and social channels.
- Contributing to leveraging the firm’s social media programs to promote the expertise and work of the practice.
- Coordinating and liaising with Brand & Communications and Business Development colleagues to support the firm’s event program and capitalize on sponsorships by developing and implementing public relations campaigns.
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that the law firm retains.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for this position should possess the following qualifications:

- A bachelor's degree in public relations, marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of ten years of cumulative experience, including at least five years of relevant public relations and marketing experience at a PR agency or in-house.
- Prior work experience and a deep understanding of litigation and familiarity with the legal industry are preferable.

Salary Information:
The salary range for the Public Relations Manager – Litigation & Trial position is between USD $130, and USD $160, per year.
