Katten, a top-ranked global law firm, is seeking a highly qualified Associate to join its premier Private Credit Department in Washington, DC. This is a great opportunity for someone with 4-6 years of experience in private credit/finance matters to join a dynamic team and work on a variety of financing transactions.

Position: Private Credit Associate
Location: Washington, DC
Salary: $225,000 - $420,000 (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
- Work on a variety of financing transactions, including cash flow deals, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and recapitalizations
- Provide legal advice and support to clients in the private credit sector
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful completion of deals
- Review and negotiate loan agreements, security agreements, and other related documents
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support transactions and client needs

Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience in private credit/finance matters at a nationally recognized law firm or relevant legal experience
- Lending experience (borrowers side exposure is a plus)
- General experience with a variety of financing transactions
- Knowledge of asset-based financings, restructurings, and workouts is a plus
- JD from an accredited law school and bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice
