Job Title: Full Time Remote Paralegal/Legal Secretary Employment Law & Class Action Experience
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Paralegal at the law firm will provide comprehensive litigation support across all phases of employment and consumer class action cases. This includes case management from inception through discovery, class certification, settlement, and trial. The paralegal will manage large volumes of data and documents, serve as a primary contact for class members, and support attorneys with key tasks. Specific responsibilities include:
- Case Management: Overseeing the entire lifecycle of class action cases, maintaining case calendars, tracking deadlines, and organizing electronic case files within the document management system.
- Discovery: Drafting and responding to discovery requests, managing large-scale document reviews and analysis using e-discovery platforms, and preparing for and summarizing depositions.
- Class Certification: Assisting attorneys with drafting motions for class certification, organizing data related to putative class members, and managing declarations.
- Client Communication: Serving as a primary contact for class members, handling inquiries professionally, and providing case updates.
- Legal Research & Writing: Conducting factual and preliminary legal research, and proofreading legal briefs and motions.
- Settlement & Trial Preparation: Assisting with class action settlements, preparing trial materials, and managing communications with claims administrators.
Education and Experience Information:
Required:
- A minimum of 7+ years of paralegal experience in a litigation-focused role.
- At least 3+ years of direct experience in employment or consumer law and class action litigation.
- A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Washington State and Federal court rules, civil procedures, and e-discovery processes.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Experience with case management software and e-discovery platforms.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Residency in Washington State.
Preferred:
- A Bachelor's Degree.
- Specific experience with plaintiff-side employment class actions.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis.
- Experience with class action settlement administration.
Salary Information:
In compliance with the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunities Act, the expected hourly pay range for this position is - per hour, translating to an annual salary of $70,000 to $100,000. The final rate will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and skill set.

Additional Information:
