Paralegal The candidate must have outstanding interpersonal telephone skills. Must have Land Use Law experience. Positive, upbeat personality and an ability to remain calm under pressure. Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills Must be able to multitask and prioritize in accordance with changing deadlines and priorities. Must be able to work in a team environment. Previous experience in a fast-paced law office preferred. Should have working knowledge of law office procedures and local government processes. Must be able to think analytically, take direction well, and work independently. Extremely detail-oriented and able to prioritize a heavy workload. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), Experiences with databases and data entry. Must be well organized, a self-starter with good communication skills. Keeps matters organized by organizing files; preparing application packages; preparing and meeting project deadlines; documenting actions; inputting information into file database and case management software; inputting billable hours into billing software, perfecting notice requirements for local municipalities for public hearings; preparing presentation materials for public hearings; attending public hearings to assist supervising attorneys; participating in conference calls and meetings and preparing minutes of same; drafting correspondence to clients and members of the legal profession, as well as to local municipalities.
