Litigation Paralegal The candidate must have 3 - 5 years experience in areas of insurance defense and personal injury and able to do the following: Handle heavy calendaring; Knowledge of Texas rules and procedures and guidelines; File motions and other legal documents; Possess knowledge of deadlines, civil codes and court rules; Perform records research on court web sites; Subpoena documents and organize them; Compose and process correspondence/reports; Draft legal documents including pleadings and legal memoranda; Draft/prepare discovery requests and responses; Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat and other legal software; Build and maintain databases and files; Help with trial preparation including witness lists, exhibits and trial binders.
