Job Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal, you will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks within the commercial real estate practice. Your primary duties will include:
- Conducting detailed reviews and analysis of title documents and surveys to identify potential issues.
- Preparing necessary objections and responses in collaboration with title companies and surveyors to resolve discrepancies and ensure clear property titles.
- Providing comprehensive support throughout all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including due diligence, financing, and closing.
- Managing organizational structuring and drafting related documents.
- Handling multiple real estate deals simultaneously, maintaining checklists, tracking critical deadlines, and ensuring smooth communication with all involved parties, such as clients, lenders, and government agencies.
- Drafting and reviewing various legal and financial documents.
- Maintaining comprehensive records within the case management systems for all client and transaction-related materials.
Education and Experience Information:
- The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of specialized experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal, with a particularly strong background in title and survey matters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and document management systems like NetDocuments and Collaborate is required.
