Paralegal - Family Law The candidate will help the attorney prepare cases for mediation, hearings, and trials. Should have 1+ years of Paralegal experience. Spanish language is preferred. Must be adept at drafting pleadings, drafting and managing discovery, as well as scheduling and tracking hearings, mediation, and trials. knowledge of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, Texas Family Code, county local rules, and individual court policies and procedures. Must be able to effectively communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing attorneys. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, TXDocs, E-Filing, and how to locate case information from district and county clerk websites.
