Insurance Defense Paralegal Responsibilities: Medical Chrons. Organizing and maintaining discovery materials. Communication with experts. Calendaring deadlines, hearings, mediations and appeals. Preparing subpoenas, legal correspondence and other documents. Trial preparation by organizing exhibits and assisting with other tasks.
Qualifications: Law firm experience, litigation defense experience is a plus. Experience in Federal Courts is a plus. Solid tenure. Typing speed of 70+ wpm. Ability to work under strict deadlines. Ability to manage and reprioritize work daily. Able to work effectively in a busy team-oriented environment as well as independently.
