Job Title: Legal Assistant/Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with legal drafting and preparation of documents for court, including Summons & Complaints, motions, stipulations, etc.
- Conduct thorough legal research on relevant laws and regulations when needed to support legal proceedings.
- Manage case files and maintain organized documentation using document management systems to ensure efficient retrieval and record-keeping.
- Coordinate project timelines and assist in managing deadlines for various legal matters to ensure timely submission and compliance.
- Perform electronic filing with court systems to facilitate the legal process.
- Respond to client inquiries to provide timely and accurate information.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date client records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates should be proficient in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Prior experience is helpful but not necessary, as the law firm is willing to train the right candidate.
Salary Information:
- Pay: $40, - $55, per year.
- All positions are full-time and salaried, with opportunities for merit-based, discretionary bonuses and annual performance reviews.
