Law Firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Patent Agent to join their Intellectual Property department. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with backgrounds in electrical engineering or biotechnology, and at least 1 year of professional experience in the patent law field. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in science or engineering, with a Master's degree or PhD preferred. A USPTO registration is required for this position.
As a Patent Agent, you will work closely with inventors to identify patentable inventions and assist in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. You will also conduct research on current patented technologies to best assist clients in their patentable work. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking the patent application process and responding to office actions from the . Patent and Trademark Office.
