Job Title: Doc Prep Processor
Job Responsibilities:
A Legal Assistant at the law firm is responsible for providing a range of legal support and administrative services to lawyers and other legal professionals. The primary focus is on representing financial institutions in areas such as bankruptcy, collections, foreclosure, litigation, and residential real estate or mortgage law. Specific duties include:
- Assisting attorneys with client representation in bankruptcy proceedings.
- Reviewing daily reports to ensure efficient and timely handling of files.
- Analyzing and validating information and documents provided by clients to determine if a referral is warranted.
- Organizing, analyzing, and cross-checking information.
- Drafting legal documents including pleadings, motions, objections, and assignments.

- Providing support to paralegals, management, and attorneys.
- Assisting with additional projects as needed.
Education and Experience Information:
- A high school diploma is required.
- Previous experience in a law firm is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in bankruptcy or mortgage servicing is preferred but not required.
- Relevant computer knowledge and experience are necessary.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills are essential.
