Job Title: Part Time Transactional Legal Secretary
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents, including leases and other agreements.
- Manage and organize transactional documents, maintaining version control and ensuring compliance with legal standards.
- Maintain deal status and fixed billing reports.
- Track and follow up on transactional deadlines and correspondence.
- Handle invoices and expense reports, ensuring accurate time entry and invoice processing for legal services.
Education and Experience Information:
- 5+ years of experience as a transactional secretary in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
- Willingness to cover another secretary’s duties on a temporary basis.
- Fast and accurate typing skills.
- Expertise in Microsoft Work, Outlook, Excel, iManage document management system, redline software such as Litera Compare, and timekeeping software such as LMS/Surepoint.
Salary Information:
- Pay: per hour
- Expected hours: 20 per week
