Clark Hill PLC is a well-established and highly respected law firm seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant for our Fidelity/Surety and Coverage Practice Group. This full-time position is based in our Collin County (Frisco) office and requires a minimum of 3 years of litigation experience. Knowledge of fidelity/surety is a plus.

The Legal Administrative Assistant will report to the Office Manager and assigned attorneys, and will be responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support to attorneys, including drafting letters, memos, pleadings, and other legal documents. The role also involves entering conflict information into the system, preparing supporting documentation, filing pleadings with the appropriate court systems, managing a central docketing system, making travel arrangements, and handling expense reimbursements for attorneys. This position primarily supports attorneys in the litigation area.

Key Responsibilities:

- Proficiency in MS Word, including generating tables of contents and authorities
- In-depth understanding of federal and state court procedures and filing requirements, including e-filing in federal court
- Formatting and proofreading pleadings, letters, memos, and other documents
- Opening and closing new matters, including conflict submission
- Scheduling meetings and arranging logistics for conferences and depositions
- Maintaining attorney calendars and making travel arrangements
- Other duties as assigned by the Office Manager, attorneys, or Business Unit Leader

Minimum Requirements:

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented work environment
- Strong team player with a willingness to take on projects of any size
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with litigation technology for managing electronic and hard copy documents
- Thorough understanding of court rules and filing requirements
- Knowledge of Pacer and ECF filing procedures
- Experience with federal court filings
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Salary Information:

The salary range for this position is $60,, annually, based on a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill sets, training, and market data. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
