Law Firm Seeking Experienced Paralegal

The Law Firm of Husch Blackwell is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our team. With multiple locations across the United States, we are a full-service litigation and business law firm serving clients with both domestic and international operations. The Mass Tort Paralegal position is open for our virtual office, The Link, or any of our locations. The main responsibilities of this role include providing assistance to attorneys in fact investigation, legal research, document preparation and production, database management, and overall client service. The position will primarily focus on California asbestos practice, and duties specific to litigation practice may include discovery, deposition preparation, investigation, trial and mediation preparation, analysis of factual information, and assistance in preparation of pleadings, motions and/or briefs.

Essential job functions include maintaining a professional demeanor and attitude, complying with firm policies, and sustaining attention to detail and quality of work. The ideal candidate will have technical proficiency in database use and management, internet/electronic research, and project folder/electronic file maintenance. They should also be able to anticipate attorney needs, mentor Paralegal Assistants, and independently handle all key duties without supervision.

The core requirements for this position include the ability to deliver superior service to all internal and external customers, excellent organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The candidate must also have a high level of professional integrity, be able to lead and motivate the work of others, and have experience in asbestos/toxic tort litigation. A Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's degree in a law-related field is preferred, or an Associate's degree with paralegal training.

The expected compensation for this position in various states and jurisdictions ranges from $67,000 to $116,000, depending on skills, experience, and location.
