Job Title: Lead Staff Counsel Procedural Review Auditor

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits of Staff Counsel files to ensure quality case handling and adherence to Staff Counsel policies and procedures.
- Provide post-audit feedback to management on cases requiring immediate attention and highlight any policy violations discovered during audits.
- Act as an independent source of recommendations to senior management, effectively communicating findings, identifying loopholes, policy gaps, and irregularities.
- Prepare and present reports on audit trends to senior management and Staff Counsel Managers, making recommendations to enhance the audit process's effectiveness.
- Assist in developing best practices and recommend improvements to existing policies and procedures.
- Adhere to the company’s Code of Conduct, policies, and operating principles.
- Meet attendance standards at the business location to perform necessary job functions and facilitate interaction with management and co-workers.
- Perform essential functions including thinking, reading, writing, listening, typing, speaking, bending, reaching, lifting, and standing for extended periods, with or without accommodation.
- Use a keyboard and mouse effectively and access multiple office equipment simultaneously.
- Communicate professionally in person, via telephone, and through written correspondence/email.
- Document files clearly and concisely for understanding by customers, clients, co-workers, and other employees.
- Follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts, and demonstrate strong organizational, priority setting, and multi-tasking skills.
- Learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information.
- Demonstrate successful performance in handling cases of significant severity and complexity.

Education and Experience Information:
- Must be licensed in good standing to practice law in applicable jurisdictions and meet licensing requirements, including mandatory Continuing Legal Education (CLE) where applicable.
- A minimum of seven years of litigation experience, including insurance defense or personal injury, is required.

Salary Information:
- Annual Salary: $118, - $210,
- The salary range is a general guideline and multiple factors are considered to determine the final salary offered. Factors include the role's scope and responsibilities, the candidate’s experience, education, training, work location, and market considerations.

Additional Information:
- At this time, the company will not sponsor new applicants for employment authorization for this position.
