Job Title: Investigations Coordinator (Entry Level)
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage key administrative aspects of the law firm's Premises Liability case opening procedures.
- Conduct thorough research to evaluate case details, determine potential at-fault parties, and research ownership/management of the parties.
- Draft precise opening documents and assess the need for independent investigation as required.
- Meticulously manage assigned caseload, efficiently conducting research, creating roles, and drafting letters.
- Identify cases needing consultation with case staff before sending opening letters and manage cases requiring more information or attorney approval.
- Maintain high productivity without sacrificing quality.
- Order investigations with outside firms as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the Premises Investigations team, investigation firms, case staff and attorneys, and other members of the firm regarding assigned cases.
Education and Experience Information:
- Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience as an investigator or case manager is preferred.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
- Outstanding attention to detail and critical thinking ability.
- Extensive computer and database expertise, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a typing speed of no less than 40 words per minute.
